Peace Conference 2026

We are living in chaotic times, where conflicts and tensions are increasing in different parts of the world. The outbreak of war in Ukraine and the Middle East remind us that world peace is a distant dream, despite the efforts of the United Nations. In recent times, tensions have escalated on the Korean peninsula, in the Taiwan Strait, and in the South China Sea. As history attests, however, wars do not solve the fundamental problems, but instead cause immense suffering and pain.

Peace Conference 2026 seeks to explore the principles of peace and highlight the role of youth in peacebuilding in multicultural Australia.
