Peace for Gaza

Please join us in solidarity for the men women and children of Palestine who have been displaced by the recent bombardment of Gaza and suffered under decades of occupation and apartheid.  

The event will commence with a silent vigil by Women in Black, followed by a variety of local artists including: 

Firebirds Choir, Shingal Musicians, MC and The Squares, Jhana Allan, Harri Keinonen, The Rocky Bottom Girls and more...

Drinks and snacks will be provided by Boobooks and traditional mediterranean food will be served by Fadya Allhalaf.

Disclaimer: This event is a peaceful gathering. It is in no way affiliated with any anti-Jewish sentiment. The organizers themselves have Jewish background. The concert's mission is purely to provide solidarity and humanitarian aid for the men, women and children who have been affected by the war in Gaza. We were inspired to put on the concert as a result of acclaimed rock artist (and Zionist sympathiser) Deborah Conway playing at The Welders Dog on the same date, however our intention was never to cancel Conway. We are in no way affiliated with any online harassment directed towards The Welders Dog or its staff and we believe that the DC gig has the right to go ahead in peace, just as we would like to hold our own peaceful fundraising concert. Condoning any sort of violence towards Deborah Conway or The Welders Dog would go against our pacifist principles. If any persons attend the Peace for Gaza concert with intention of harassment or violence, they will be turned away. 

Our message is simple: Genocide in all forms must be stopped. Ceasefire now.
