We need civil resistance to avert climate breakdown, which means we need you to come to our free peaceful civil resistance/nonviolent direct action training. These trainings, led by an experienced trainer, are playful, engaging, and connecting experiences. You'll not only learn practical skills, but also step into a community of peaceful civil resistance. Welcome!

We highly recommend that you come to a Restore Passenger Rail welcome talk prior to the training (see options here https://restorepassengerrail.nz) but it is OK to just turn up with an open mind on the day. Please invite your friends to register - we want to welcome people in and also support them to have the best experience possible. This training will go ahead if we have at least 6 people coming, so please help make this happen.

Expect to get involved in fun and challenging exercises and discussions - this is not a lecture! The training will also be valuable for team building, and building solidarity and trust between people, so feel encouraged to come if you've already done a training, or aren't even sure if you want to ever do nonviolent direct action.
