City of Monash: Peer Navigation

Affirmation Station visits the City of Monash! 

Transgender Victoria is facilitating an Affirmation for All event in the City of Monash. This is part of a series of gender affirming events happening on this day.

This session is for transgender, gender diverse, gender questioning, and non-binary people age 18+ who live, work, study, or play in the City of Monash and surrounding areas.

About Peer Navigation:

Peer Navigation is a confidential service for someone wanting to explore their gender identity in an understanding, supportive, and confidential space. This service is for anyone who identifies as transgender or gender diverse, or who may be questioning their gender identity.

Transgender Victoria believes that the best people to provide guidance are those who have walked similar pathways. That's why all of our peer workers are trans and/or non-binary.

There are three sessions available. These are one-on-one sessions with our peer worker. Please select the one option that best suits you.

Accessibility & Safety:

Your comfort and safety are important to us.

• Mask-wearing is strongly encouraged, and we'll have spares if you need one.

• We offer fidget toys if you need some.

• Hand sanitiser is available.

The venue is accessible for people with disability and people with mobility issues.

Accessible parking is available close to the building entrance. There is a firm path leading from the parking area to the entrance. Everything is on one level, so there are no stairs or lifts to use.

An accessible toilet is available inside the building.
