Avalon is the head instructor for Peer Rope Melbourne and one of Australia's pioneers of Japanese rope, studying Shibari in Japan since 2008 with leading Japanese Masters; his Bio can be seen below.

Avalon's BIO: Avalon has been teaching since 2010 as co-founder of the Sydney Rope Dojo, he moved to Melbourne in 2015, opened his own Dojo, and founded Peer Rope Melbourne in 2017 and peer Rope Byron Bay in 2020.

Fascinated by the intrinsic beauty in the art of Japanese Rope Bondage since seeing a Japanese bondage show in Paris in the late '80s and a month-long trip to Japan in the '90s.

In his pursuit to become a decent rigger, he regularly travels to Japan every year to study Japanese bondage, he has been a student of Osada Steve Sensei since 2008 and has received tutelage from renowned Masters, such as the late Grand Master Yukimura Haruki sensei and Nawashi Kanna.

In the years he has attended and co-hosted many rope workshops with Osada Steve, Hajime Kinoko, Yukimura Haruki, Kitagawa, Nawashi Kanna, Satomi Zpira, Kazami Ranki, Ottonawa, Bingo, Yoi, Nuit de Tokyo as well as participated in many international events, jamming with other great international rope artists.

Avalon has performed in many national & international events and has held rope workshops and retreats around the world since 2012.

    Avalon's style:

Seduced by the sensual skill and artistic expression of Newaza Shibari (Yukimura style floorwork) Avalon has developed his own way of tying, his floor-work tends to be fluid and sensory, relying on triggers and sensitivities of his partner in an attempt to lull them into a forbidden world of sensory pleasure.

Avalon does his best to keep faith in traditional Japanese bondage where mind, edge and predicament play, combined with an organic aesthetic element are key factors of the tying process.

Elisa's bio (she is back in May)

Hailing from Rome, Elisa became interested in alternative sexuality early in life. Elisa has been a linchpin of the growing polyamory community from 2012 in Rome before moving to Sydney in 2015.

An experienced kinkster, Elisa has worked as a pro-domme in both her old home and new. Since moving to Sydney, she has opened new avenues into tantra and body awareness practices. She has been involved as a helper and presenter at Xplore Rome, Really Good Sex Festival, Love and Lust Festival, Eros Festival, OZ Kink, Burning Man Community, MindBodySpirit Festival, and more.

Teaching since 2017 in Australia, mainly in Sydney and Melbourne, but also in Newcastle, Canberra and Brisbane, and since 2019 in the US (San Francisco, Las Vegas and Oakland) and Europe (Berlin, Wien, Rome).

She started her journey into the rope scene in 2013, before as a bunny and 3 years later as a rigger. She uses ropes as a form of communication between her and the bottom. She loves sensual and erotic rope play, alternating pleasure and pain during the scene.

She started teaching at Peer Rope Melbourne in April 2021 and will teach Beginner and Intermediate classes in 2022.
