Pekapeka sewing Workshop, Highland Park Library, Tuesday 14 April, 2pm - 4pm
Description
Proudly brought to you by the Creative Communities!
Fly into some holiday fun as kids sew their own pekapeka using upcycled fabric.
This is a laid back sewing session where tamariki can learn a new skill, have a go at something different, and make something awesome to take home. It is also a nice way to chat about caring for nature and reusing materials without it feeling like a lesson. Perfect for curious kids who love creating and turning scraps into something cool.
For Ages 8+
When: Tuesday 14 April, 2pm - 4pm.
Where: Highland Park Library, 16 Highland Park Drive, Highland Park.
The ReCreators are on a mission to show the world how to reduce and reuse our natural resources. It’s easy, fun, creative, and sustainable. Join us on our journey.
