Melbourne's Pelletron Alumni and Friends Day
Event description
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the University of Melbourne Pelletron accelerator, the University of Melbourne School of Physics is hosting a celebratory reception event.
With special guests and alumni in attendance, we will premiere the 50th anniversary video production, followed by nibbles and refreshments at the Ed Muirhead Physics Museum. Guests will have an opportunity to network with past and present students, staff, and the Pelletron's supporters, and take a facility tour.
Guests are encouraged to stay for the public lecture “the Science and Stories of Melbourne's Particle Accelerators” by Dr. Adam Steinberg at 6 pm. Please RSVP your free ticket via this link.
