Do you have an old bike that has a flat tyre, or maybe the brakes and chain are a bit squeaky and need servicing? A free tune-up can get you back on your bike for Summer! Penrith City Council has partnered with Revolve ReCYCLING, offering free bike tunes and check-ups to the Penrith community.

Council wants to give new life to old bikes! In turn, this helps residents save money, reduce disposal to landfill and contributes to creating a circular economy by reusing as many parts as possible.

Attendees can also make their own pedal-powered smoothie for free! It just takes 30 seconds to blend with multiple recipes to choose from.

There will be 6 mechanics offering 15-minute sessions from 9am to 2pm*.

This project is a NSW Environment Protection Authority Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy initiative, funded from the waste levy

Please Note:

Only bicycles can be repaired, not e-bikes or scooters
Revolve ReCYCLING will do their best to repair all issues, however, if deemed unrepairable you can drop your bike off on the day to be recycled for free.
Unrepairable bikes will be dismantled and materials will be reused to make new products. Donated bikes that can be repaired will go to charitable causes to support underprivileged children.
