People, Posies & Plein Aire Painter's Retreat
Description
People, Posies & Plein Aire is an immersive, 3-day, 4-night, painter’s retreat in Lake City, Colorado.
This painter's workshop and retreat is lead by Colorado acclaimed painter and founder and director of The Alvarez Gallery & Art School, Chris Alvarez, who will provide 18 hours of hands-on instruction, complemented by an engaging creative community experience to refine your skills as a painter. We will be painting outdoors on location with a focus on flowers and figures, as well as landscapes.
The retreat will take place at The Inn at the Lake, nestled in the beautiful San Juan Mountain Range on the shore of Lake San Cristobal.
If you would like the immersive overnight experience, you will enjoy a 3-day, 4-night lakefront stay at The Inn which includes a full country breakfast. Once you've registered for the retreat, contact the Inn at The Lake to book your room.
If you are local to the Lake City area, you can attend the workshop at a commuter rate. All retreat participants will enjoy catered lunch and snacks for 3 days, and catered dinner for 2 nights, with 2 nights planned for a community dinner out in downtown Lake City.
We are so delighted to host you in this beautiful corner of Colorado, and we look forward to sharing this expansive workshop with you.
