Event description

Navigating issues at schools or TAFE

People With Disability Australia (PWDA) is presenting an advocacy session at Carnes Hill Library.

Come along and learn all about how PWDA advocates provide free, confidential, and personalised support for school-aged students with disability and their families. During this session, you will learn how an advocate can help you understand your rights as a student with disability and how an advocate can support you to solve concerns or problems with the school and request specific support.

You can also ‘Ask an Advocate’ questions during Q&A.

This free interactive session is designed for people with disability, parents of adults or young people with disability, and partners or family members of people with disability.

All are welcome and bookings are not essential, but please register for catering purposes.
