Event description

What is advocacy? And how to build self-advocacy skills

People With Disability Australia (PWDA) is presenting an advocacy session at Yellamundie.

Learn all about disability advocacy and how it can help you solve a problem you are experiencing.

The session is hosted by a panel of experienced advocates who specialise in individual advocacy across a range of issues related to housing, NDIS appeals, employment, education, health and more.

You can also ‘Ask an Advocate’ questions during Q&A.

This free interactive session is designed for people with disability, parents of adults or young people with disability, and partners or family members of people with disability.

All are welcome and bookings are not essential, but please register for catering purposes.
