Many leaders are well-equipped with competencies such as AI, strategic thinking and managing operations. These are important technical skills that help leaders 'do leadership'. In other words, to produce and deliver value.

In reality, most workplace challenges are not technical. They are people ones. Such as, an absence of trust and psychological safety, team members disengaging at work, lack of collaboration, and limited contribution to ideation or innovation.

Learning Facilitator's Bio

Isman Tanuri

People Engagement & Leader Development Facilitator (LinkedIn)

Since 2017, Isman has facilitated thousands of leaders at various levels in Asia and beyond. His mission is to help leaders develop the facilitative mindset and skills to grow other leaders, lead healthier worklife, and create deep meaning for self and others at work.

Isman’s recent engagements include leading leader development programs for Saudi Basic Industries (China, India & Singapore), a four-year engagement at PETRONAS (Malaysia), Central Bank (Malaysia), Singtel (Singapore) and Suntory-Pepsi (Vietnam). Isman has also delivered learning experiences in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Monaco, New Zealand, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand amongst others.

A Strathclyde MBA, Isman is currently working on his doctoral research at University of Canberra in the area of learning-oriented leadership.

His accreditations include ATD Facilitator and Master Trainer (USA), IAL Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (Singapore), HRDC Accredited Trainer (Malaysia), Certified LEGO Serious Play Facilitator (Denmark) and Miro MVP (Global).

Previously, Isman held senior marketing leadership roles at innovative advertising technology companies, MediaMath Inc. (Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific) and Tapad-Telenor (Marketing Director, Asia Pacific). He was also Associate Director at BTS Global Consulting.
