    Event description

Sinphonic Events in association with DeVille are excited to bring you PEOWPEOW! With Mr Oz, Aquapoodle and Charles Wood for a night of intergalactic beats you do not want to miss💥

Mr Oz, aka Paul Marlow, has been a DJ since the late 80s. He started on pirate station Fusion 89.8FM and quickly made a name for himself playing at parties around London and the M25. Not just a record player, he joined React Music in '91 as label manager, overseeing hit releases like Candi Staton's 'You've got the love'. Since then, he's rocked parties all over the globe, organizing massive events like Universe - Tribal Gathering.

In 2001 he emigrated to Wellington, New Zealand and enjoyed several residencies inc. Mercury, Jet Bar, Vespa Lounge, Twisted, The Forest, Taniwha's Den, and promotes his own monthly Sinphonic Events, with deep electronic beats called Dirty Laundry and Conundrum.

Aqua Poodle is a force in the electronic music scene. Her unique blend of deep house, melodic techno, and groovy Indie Dance sets her apart. Inspired by the '90s scene, she now calls Golden Bay, New Zealand home. With dreamy basslines and hypnotic melodies, she enchants audiences wherever she goes. Performing at festivals across New Zealand, Aqua Poodle's music transcends mere sound, drawing listeners into a world of pure magic.

Stiff neck thugging OG Charles Wood was born for this! From the early inspiration of hip hop funk and soul he brought his first pair of turntables at the tender age of 15 and has been cutting and scratching his way through ever since. Rolling out from the shores of the English east coast once he discovered electronica there was no looking back. These days he can be found deep in the Auckland ghetto providing the soundtrack for our days and nights – from slow jive down beat to sexed up deeper house and intergalactic future B Boy tech. Turn it up!
