The RoboRAVE competition is a unique robotics opportunity where students get the chance to compete against hundreds of other students! There are plenty of opportunities to interact with cool robots, try out new technology, and eat some great food! This is an all-weekend event located at the UniSC Stadium in Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast, however, students will only be entering competitions from the Saturday and do not need to be present on both days.

    • Team registration opens at 8:30am, but we recommend students arrive at 8:00am. Parking information will be provided on the day.
    • The award ceremony ends at 4:45pm, the coach will remain around until students have been collected.

      Pre-Knowledge and Age Requirements.

This RoboRAVE course is open to students from Years 3-12 (Ages 8-18). Students will enter into a division based on their age, so younger students do not have to worry about competing against highschool students! If you're student is in Year 2 or below, please contact Oscar to determine if you're child is suitable for this course.

This course aims to create an inclusive environment that accommodates students of various skill levels. It caters to young beginners with no prior experience in robotics, as well as those who have participated in RoboRAVE before. Novice students will receive extra support from the instructors and their team members, ensuring a positive learning experience. On the other hand, students who possess advanced robotics skills and seek greater challenges will progressively tackle more difficult tasks with valuable guidance and insights from the instructors. If you have any questions regarding your student's eligibility for the course, please reach out to Oscar for further details.
