Performer Bio Writing Workshop

Adelaide-based wordsmith Diana Divine will guide you through the foundations of bio writing over this two-hour workshop. With guides for basic format, wordplay, and sentence structure, you'll collaborate with Di and the rest of the class to create the hype-inducing write up you deserve!

By the end of the workshop, you'll have written a draft of a bio from scratch and be armed with the skills to write new act introductions, professional industry bios, and to re-write them all as your persona changes.

Supplied by organiser: Worksheets, writing materials, slide show/presentation, chairs, tables.

Students to bring: Notebook or laptop for writing. (Odourless) brain food and nonalcoholic beverages are welcome/encouraged. Students are welcome to bring headphones for the writing breaks.

This venue is wheelchair accessible. Please note the room has non-dimmable fluorescent lights. Di recommends bringing sensory supports such as sunglasses, a hooded jumper, earplugs and/or headphones as needed.

Attendees will have access to the community kitchen including tea and coffee facilities.
