Losing my libido

Event description

Has your libido taken a dive during perimenopause and menopause?

You’re not alone. Research shows that over 32% of women aged 40-65 experience low sexual desire (I suspect it’s much higher).

For too long women’s sexual health, especially during the transition, has been relegated to the back burner. That’s why we’re changing the conversation and doing something about it.

Join us in July for this very special workshop on Sexuality and Desire in Menopause.

Part 1 – What happened to my vagina?

Naturopath, Marnie gets the ‘dry’ stuff out of the way first, as we take a deep dive into the changes that take place during perimenopause and menopause.

  • Why we get vulvovaginal symptoms – burning, dryness, irritation, etc.
  • The need to pee all the time.
  • What can you do to manage the symptoms of GSM (genitourinary syndrome of menopause)
Part 2 – Pleasure and the ‘pause’.

Trauma informed therapist and relationship and sex educator, Bronwyn discusses libido and intimacy. This is an opportunity to get your questions answered and be given practical and actionable steps to address sexuality and desire as you transition through the change.

Part 3 – Intimacy and embodiment *

Yoga and somatic movement teacher, Sarcha takes us on this non-linear journey.

This powerful practice helps to:

  • Release old emotions.
  • Calm the nervous system.
  • Awaken the body to pleasure.

*As this is a movement practice, please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.

Tickets are very limited so book early.
