This workshop will enable GP's to consider the range of options available for treating perimenopausal symptoms, and which options may be most appropriate for a patient's circumstances.
Participants will be able to:
- Outline the principles for prescribing perimenopausal hormonal therapy, and its risks and benefits
- Discuss options for contraception in the perimenopause
- Discuss when testosterone therapy may be indicated for perimenopausal people
- Discuss the use of non hormonal treatment options for perimenopausal symptoms
