This workshop will enable GP's to consider the range of options available for treating perimenopausal symptoms, and which options may be most appropriate for a patient's circumstances.

Participants will be able to:

Outline the principles for prescribing perimenopausal hormonal therapy, and its risks and benefits
Discuss options for contraception in the perimenopause
Discuss when testosterone therapy may be indicated for perimenopausal people
Discuss the use of non hormonal treatment options for perimenopausal symptoms
