PeriMoves Womens Workshop
Description
There is a particular kind of exhaustion that no sleep fixes. It sits beneath the tiredness. Deeper than hormones. Older than this year, or the decade before it.
And in perimenopause or menopause, the body stops pretending it's fine. The hot flashes. The sleeplessness. The stiff joints and brain fog. The rage that surfaces from nowhere. The grief you can't quite name. A regular class can start to feel like it's missing the point.
PeriMoves is what I've built for exactly that, and this workshop brings it into the room.
One held, in-person session that weaves together yoga therapy, fascial and bodywork, breath work and guided shamanic practice, made specifically for this stage of a woman's life. It works alongside whatever healthcare you choose; it's the piece your doctor can't give you.
The promise is simple. You walk out with more of yourself available. You've felt, in your own body, what it's like to put down what isn't yours. Your hips, jaw and shoulders have softened. You've moved through some of the rage and the grief without being swallowed by it. And you go home with a ten-minute practice PDF that brings you back into your own body on an ordinary Tuesday, when you can feel yourself slipping away again.
I've spent nearly three decades working with women's bodies — through yoga therapy, bodywork and shamanic healing. The PeriMoves container brings two worlds together: practical work for the body that aches, and practices for the parts of the experience that don't fit neatly inside a medical explanation.
