Course Dates & Details

The course is run over six 2 day weekends. (with optional events on some weekends).

The first weekend will be held at the Queanbeyan Hive and at a home in Queanbeyan

Dates may be subject to change - over six weekends. The course weekends in advertised program may change based on site host availability and on-site conditions.

Location: Canberra, Queanbeyan, and Southern Tablelands regional site visits (in day trips from Canberra)

Over 72 hours of course content

Our course is designed for anyone aged 16 and up, with no prior experience necessary.

Experiential Learning: Visit local permaculture-designed sites e.g. gardens and large-scale farms like Millpost Farm, Roogulli Farm, and Ainslie Urban Farm, Canberra City Farm. Talk with the local people.

Practical Experience: Design a project suited to your needs, whether for your home, a community space, or a local business initiative.
