Gather. Root. Remember. Regenerate.

🔥 A Transformational Gathering for Regenerative Living in the Northeast Bioregion

This August 21st-24th (2025), we invite you to a 4-day immersive gathering of land stewards, cultural carriers, community organizers, artists, healing practitioners, educators, funders, scientists, builders, technologists, families, and others working toward a regenerative future in the Northeast bioregion of North America.

Whether you're living in an intentional community, stewarding a farm or land project, organizing mutual aid, designing alternative economies, holding space for healing and cultural transformation, or seeking your place in this larger movement - this event is for you.

The Northeast Eco-Communities Convergence is a space for learning, connection, celebration, and collaborative action. It’s a time to gather across generations, build lasting relationships, and strengthen the bioregional ecosystem of people and projects working toward a just and abundant future.

Permaculture installations like food forests, hugelkultur beds, and water retention systems
Natural building projects such as earth benches, compost systems, or small ecological structures
Land-based healing practices to support soil health, pollinators, and water systems on-site

Whether you're experienced or new to this kind of earth-healing work, you’ll learn by doing—alongside a team of educators, land stewards, and community members.

💬 Stewards’ Circle: Share Your Vision, Call In Support

Throughout the event, we’ll host dedicated sessions for community land stewards across the Northeast to:

Present what they’re working on
Name the challenges they’re facing
Call in the support, collaborators, funding, or tools they need

These gatherings are a key part of bioregional regeneration—helping us witness one another, build trust, and align around shared priorities.

Visual art, installations, and collaborative murals

🧭 Emergent Sessions & Open Space

We’ll also host Open Space Forums—where YOU can create and lead a session on what you’re passionate about. Whether it’s mycelial governance, seed sovereignty, or community compost systems—there’s room for your wisdom and curiosity.

💠 Real-Time Mapping of Our Collective Impact

We’ll be actively mapping:

The people, communities, and projects present
What each of us is working on
What we’re calling in (support, tools, funding, collaborators)
What we’re offering (skills, knowledge, resources)

Every person becomes visible in the “web.” This mapping will help identify synergies, gaps, and opportunities for long-term collaboration. It also tracks the impact we’re making—not just at the event, but rippling outward.

🔁 We Leave a Positive Trace

Our intention is to cultivate:

Deepened relationships and long-term collaborations
Real-world land-based improvements through permaculture builds
A shared network of stewards and supporters mapped and mobilized
A replicable model for regenerative gatherings
Joy, reverence, and renewed purpose

🌍 Bioregional Movement Support by our sponsor, Kinship Earth

Kinship Earth will be supporting the bioregional theme of the convergence by offering education on bioregionalism and Flow Funding, supporting the unfolding of the Bioregional Roundtables, and introducing the Planetary Party—a gathering model and emerging federated ecosystem currently being formed by a network of aligned organizations, people, and technologies.

While the model has not yet been piloted, this convergence will serve as a key opportunity to raise awareness, gather feedback, and galvanize support for the Planetary Party concept. Planetary Party gatherings are being designed to illuminate bioregional needs, track impact, celebrate culture, and invite participants to share their gifts. They’ll also invite donors into a peer ecosystem, where they can witness the direct impact of their contributions—such as infrastructure being built to grow food, house families, and regenerate land—and experience a more participatory, trust-based model of philanthropy that centers community leadership and on-the-ground wisdom. Learn more about our sponsor here: https://www.kinshipearth.org/

🌀 Who Is This For?

This convergence is for:

People living in or building eco-communities, co-housing, or regenerative land projects
Educators, organizers, and practitioners wanting to share their knowledge
Artists, musicians, and healers who tend to culture, story, and spirit
Youth, elders, and families who believe in a more beautiful future
Funders, technologists, and solution builders supporting on-the-ground transformation
You, if you feel the call

Permatours is dedicated to holding containers (intentional spaces) that remain free of alcohol, powders, pills, and gasses. Your presence, in times of joy and difficulty, is welcome here!

We support a space of interdependence, and mutual aid. We trust that when we arrive and are able to do for ourselves what we can, with the inter-standing we may not be able to do everything, we are better aligned to receive the aid we truly need, and aid others in areas of their needs. Building mutually beneficial relationships and working together in symbiosis are key aspects of being able to thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually, as a community.

We support a space of radical self-reliance, encouraging everyone to show up able to meet most, if not all, of their own needs. The community is here to support them when/if needed.

We observe the 4 Agreements, with the inclusion of the 5th Agreement, by Don Miguel Ruiz.

Be impeccable with your word.
Don’t take anything personally.
Don’t make any assumptions.
Always do your best.
