Event description

Stronger Families, together with Peel Says No To Violence are pleased to host a 16 Days in WA event focused on FDV perpetrator accountability. This event is open to everyone including FDV stakeholders, regional organisations and the public.

The morning will centre on a modern perspective that emphasises understanding the root causes of harm in family and domestic violence, while adopting a strengths-based approach that involves believing in and collaborating with victim-survivors.

To drive change, we must shift our mindset, which will ultimately transform our practices. Let’s come together at this event to share ideas and network, to change the narrative from “Why doesn’t the victim leave?” to “Why doesn’t the perpetrator stop?”

Keynote speaker will be Mark O'Hare, Deputy CEO Stopping Family Violence.

Panel will include Mark O'Hare, Sgt Dan Tordoff (OIC Mandurah FDV FRT), Noël Robertson (Clinical Manager Stronger Families) and Nicci Lambert (CEO Allambee Counselling)

Working lunch (sandwiches etc) will be provided
