Perry County Day Camp

Event description

Perry County Day Camp is held at Little Buffalo State Park. Campers will engage in hiking, swimming, crafts, games and outdoor education activities around our theme of "Made in Perry County?". Camp is open to students who have completed grades 1-6 and will be held from 9 am-3 pm on Monday - Friday. Participants have a choice of attending from July 8-12 OR July 15-19. Parents are responsible for providing all transportation. Campers need to bring a packed lunch on Monday-Thursday; lunch is provided on Friday.

A limited number of scholarships are available to families with financial concerns. If interested in applying for a scholarship, please contact Stephanie Everett at 717-589-3690.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS IN ORDER TO CONTINUE THE 50+ YEAR TRADITION OF PERRY COUNTY DAY CAMP. The camp depends on adult volunteers to lead small groups of campers. Children of adult volunteers can attend at a greatly reduced rate. Adult volunteers may also register and bring their preschool age children. Adult volunteers (18 or older) must have current State Police, Child Abuse History, and FBI clearances on file or clearances must be email or mailed to Audrey Jones before May 30:

Registration closes on May 15th. Refund requests will only be honored prior to the close of registration or with a doctor's excuse.
