Person-centred and trauma-informed reporting, response and support for small and medium businesses
Event description
Person-centred and trauma-informed reporting, response and support for small and medium businesses
Increasingly, a leading practice approach to responding to workplace sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying and other harmful and unlawful conduct is through constructive and alternative resolution options in place of investigations, wherever possible.
Offering a range of options is also consistent with the Australian Human Rights Commission’s guidance for employers to meet their positive duty obligations by embedding a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to reporting, response and support. Key benefits include increased trust and confidence in reporting, early intervention, and improved safety and respect for all parties during and after a matter has been resolved.
This highly interactive half-day workshop is designed to equip People and Culture Managers and/or other responsible people in small and medium enterprises with the knowledge to develop leading practice reporting, response and support processes, and the practical skills to provide a person-centred and trauma-informed response to reports of harmful and unlawful conduct.
Participants will receive a practical workbook with takeaway resources and guidance to ensure they can implement necessary changes and practice their new knowledge and skills.
