Increasingly, a leading practice approach to responding to workplace sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying and other harmful and unlawful conduct is through constructive and alternative resolution options in place of investigations, wherever possible.

Offering a range of options is also consistent with the Australian Human Rights Commission’s guidance for employers to meet their positive duty obligations by embedding a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to reporting, response and support. This highly interactive half-day workshop is designed to equip People and Culture Managers and/or other responsible people in small and medium enterprises with the knowledge to develop leading practice reporting, response and support processes, and the practical skills to provide a person-centred and trauma-informed response to reports of harmful and unlawful conduct.

Participants will receive a practical workbook with takeaway resources and guidance to ensure they can implement necessary changes and practice their new knowledge and skills.

Justine Vaisutis — Justine has blonde hair and is wearing a black blazer and white top

Justine is a human rights, DEI and organisational change practitioner with almost 20 years’ of experience assisting workplaces to develop bespoke programs that improve equality, inclusion and safety. Justine has previously held senior human rights and workplace policy-related roles, including Program Director of the Champions of Change STEM Group, Director of Human Rights and Social Impact at KPMG, Director of Education and Engagement at the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission and Manager, Workforce Policy and Performance at Monash University. Justine is IAP2 Certified and she holds a Masters of Human Rights Law from Monash University, Executive MBA with Distinction from RMIT and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University.
