Event description

Being future-ready isn't just a buzzword; it's a game-changer and a must-have capability for any leader. This all starts with you; embracing a future-minded mindset and being open to personal change as the foundation for impactful organisational transformation. Say goodbye to the “fix-it-as-it-comes” approach and be prepared to challenge your deepest personal assumptions.

Join Dr. Cheryl Doig, futurist at Think Beyond, for a thought-provoking one-day experience, introducing you to futures thinking and foresight practices for your personal leadership. This workshop isn't just about connecting the dots; it's about unleashing the power of personal futures to revolutionise your approach to leadership.

We’ll work together to:

  • Explore Key Concepts: Delve into essential futures terms, concepts, and tools that are immediately useful for your own life
  • Inner Work of Futures: Explore your assumptions and worldviews, and the way in which the questions we ask impact on the future.
  • Cultural Connections: Make links to indigenous understandings where past, present and future are intertwined.
  • Critical Futures Mindset: Reinforcing the critical mindset essential for thriving amid uncertainty, complex changes and a regenerative world.
  • Emerging Capabilities: Develop new capabilities to learn from the future and action today - creating a preferred future
  • Contextualising Futures Studies: Introducing futures studies and establishing a connection between organisational and personal futures.

You’ll leave with:

  • An Enhanced Worldview Awareness: A better understanding of your own worldviews and how these impact personally and professionally on the future.
  • Inner Development Insights: Experienced exploring inner development goals and identified areas for future focus
  • A Personal Futures Kete: Access to a kete of tools, strategies and resources, enabling you to delve deeper into the methodologies of futures and foresight.
  • A Development Perspective: A clear understanding of the role futures and foresight may play in your ongoing personal & leadership development.
  • A Roadmap for Next Steps: A personalised roadmap to bring your future into today.

The future is calling, and this workshop is your ticket!
