Perth Community Footy - Winter Season
Event description
Perth Community Footy is an inclusive, not for profit, community run collective of footy lovers and mates.
But what is it?
- A social mixed gendered footy game.
- Open to players of all abilities (no playing experience necessary).
- AFL 9's NON CONTACT rules, with a qualified umpire.
- Weekly games are played with (usually) 16-24 on the field at one time - we don't believe in anyone missing out, so we adjust the field size to suit those available, each week.
Where and When?
Games are held at Allen Park, Swanbourne.
Show up at 2:30pm to warm up our bodies and set the field.
Game starts at 3pm with (optional) legendary hangs to follow.
Fee breakdown:
Registration fees go toward the quality of running a community sport.
This includes the following
- Paying our legendary umpires!
- Ensuring we have a trainers kit for game prep and first aid
- Equipment
- Mid game fruit & Suncream
Registration by Donation
To remain inclusive and keep our games accessible, the fee structure is designed to give everyone an opportunity to afford to play.
Full registration is $60 per player, ensure we are able to cover all costs when hosting games and hopefully fund a bit of an end of season send off with any surplus.
Unwaged fees of $30 cover just the essentials, however there are no player disadvantages when choosing this option, as every participant is equal here!
