Discover the opportunities behind the screen at Perth Film Studios Careers Day, a dedicated event for high school (years 9 - 12), TAFE and tertiary students interested in careers in film, television and the wider screen industry.

Part of the Perth Film Studios Public Open Days, Careers Day provides a unique opportunity to explore Western Australia's screen industry, learn about career pathways and connect with industry professionals, education providers and suppliers.

Students will gain insight into the full production process, from development and filming through to post-production, while hearing directly from professionals working across the sector.

The program includes panel discussions, demonstrations and an exhibition-style information zone showcasing career and study opportunities.

Schools will have the opportunity to book a designated time slot from one of six available sessions.

Each session will run for a duration of three (3) hours. During this time, student groups will rotate through a series of structured activities and activations, providing exposure to a diverse range of experiences that aim to promote, inform, and inspire career pathways within the film and creative industries.

Session arrival times are 8:30am, 9:00am, 9:15am, 10:30am, 11:15am and 12:15pm. Booking is subject to availability. If your desired session time has been exhausted, you will be offered an alternative session time.
