Perth Melanoma Community Forum

Our Melanoma Community Forum is to give access to patients and carers with up-to-date information from expert speakers on melanoma research, treatment and support.

Melanoma patients, family, friends and the wider community are invited to engage with leading experts on melanoma research, treatment and support.

Guest Speakers:

• Dr Piyush Grover - Medical Oncologist, Fiona Stanley Hospital - Current Medical Practice and Medical Science advances - Treatment of Melanoma

• Dr Peter Lau - Medical Oncologist, Post Doctoral Translational Immuno-Oncology Fellow, Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research - Adverse Reactions to Immunotherapy

• Dr Mary Kennedy - Postdoctoral Research Fellow focusing on understanding how to integrate exercise into oncology care pathways, Edith Cowan University.

• Pam Eldridge - Exercise Physiologist - Project Scenic integrating exercise into cancer care.

• Ronniet Orlando - Lived Experience Melanoma

Doors open at 6:00pm for registration and light refreshments in the Theatre foyer.

The Community Forum speakers will commence at 6:30pm and will conclude with a panel discussion of all speakers.

Refreshments will be available after the speakers and panel discussion.
