Perth Running Festival Packing Preparation Volunteers - Guild Van Excursion

Join the Perth Running Festival volunteer team for our Postal Packing Shift on Wednesday 9 September 2026, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Working alongside festival staff at our headquarters at Optus Stadium, you'll help prepare thousands of race packs for postal delivery to participants across Western Australia and beyond.

• EVENT DETAILS:
  When: Wednesday, 9th September

• Where: Optus Stadium

• Time: 8.15am - 3.30pm

• Activity Duration: 9am - 3pm

• Getting there: Meet at 8.15am at the Guild Volunteering Hub located in Guild Village near the IGA, on the other side of SLAC. The van will be leaving at 8.20am sharp. Please see map below:

  

• Role: Tasks include collating bibs, attaching timing tags, folding inserts, packing envelopes, and sorting packs ready for Australia Post collection. No experience is needed — full instruction is provided on arrival, and the work suits anyone comfortable with light, hands-on tasks seated or standing. It's a fun, social shift with music, plenty of chatter, and morning tea and lunch provided. Wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes, bring a water bottle, and come ready to lend a hand.
