Bike Month Movie - Motherload & Active Transport Panel Discussion

Perth Independent with support from Sparque present a viewing of Motherload.

Motherload, the movie that won the Hero Award at the 2020 Better Cities Film Festival. MOTHERLOAD is a crowdsourced documentary exploring our cultural shift toward isolation and disconnection, how this may affect our future, and whether the cargo bike could be an antidote.

After the film, our panel will explore active transport in Perth - and how more of it could make us happier, healthier and more resilient.

Our incredible panelists are Roxanne De Beaux (Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure, previously Cambridge Cycling Campaign, UK), Massimo Galardi (community leader who started the first Bike Bus in WA), and Tim Judd (Road Safety Engineer and Westcycle Board Member). Submit a question when you buy a ticket.

This is an an incredibly uplifting film followed by a critical conversation about safe streets and active travel in Perth - so please join us (there will be snacks)!
