PESA Wellbeing in Education State Conference: South Australia
Event description
Join us in Adelaide for one of our four one-day conferences taking place across Australia. This event provides a unique opportunity to enhance your professional development and establish meaningful connections with fellow educators in the field of wellbeing. By attending, you can conveniently minimise travel during a busy and expensive year.
Our conference theme is Replenish: Our Students and Ourselves. As the wellbeing needs of young people continues to become more complex, replenishing their wellbeing continues to evolve. While supporting young people, it is vital for educators to prioritise their own wellbeing. We will delve into these ideas in our conferences.
By registering, you will gain access to the Adelaide in-person event, complimented by a digital package featuring all keynote speakers from every location*
On the day of the event, registrations will be open between 8:45 - 9:30am. The conference program will run from 9:30 - 4pm, followed by an optional networking event until 5:30pm.
If you require a group booking, and would like your school or organisation to be invoiced for the booking, please complete this form.
See the full list of Keynotes, Masterclasses and Workshops HERE.
*The digital package will be available 3 weeks following the completion of the final event.
About Scotch College:
Scotch College is a uniquely welcoming school with your child’s wellbeing at it’s heart.
Every student who walks through our gates joins a school that cares deeply about providing extraordinary opportunities and experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime.
The traditions of our school are more than simply habits and conventions, more than blazers and buildings. For over 100 years, Scotch has asked itself how to best prepare the young people in its care for all that lies ahead, so they can become the leaders and drivers of tomorrow. Those strong traditions demand we look forward, innovate with our hearts and minds, and question our past to understand the future.
Students at Scotch work with a dedicated staff, committed to bringing the best out of all who pass through our school. Our students are afforded the opportunity to explore the breadth of their passions, and experience the depth and rigour of academic disciplines.
We know learning takes place not only in a classroom, but on courts and fields, in the bush on an expedition, or under the lights of a stage. We know that working with others and our broader community helps us learn as much about ourselves as it does about the world that we live in.
And we know that wellbeing is at the core of success and happiness in every context. It is not the stuff of an evening webinar, nor a booklet handed out before lunch. Making a commitment to the wellbeing and safety of the young people in our care is proudly at the heart of all that we do.
It is a privilege to welcome you to Scotch College Adelaide, on behalf of PESA, to be a part of the broader conversation on effective approaches to wellbeing in schools. We look forward to seeing you in September for an informative and purposeful day.
Thank you to our sponsor, Orah.
