Taking Your Writing to the Next Level
Talented and enthusiastic Year 5 & 6 writers are invited to join writer Louise Park for a day of inspiration and excitement. The day will involve:
1. 5 proven writing tips to take your writing to the next level.
2. Guided Writing Meditation: learn a sure-fire technique to remove writing blocks and bring a passage to life. This includes editing your work using guidelines.
3. Focus on writing authentic dialogue and speech attribution techniques.
4. Building compelling and believable characters and how to use this to make your writing better—the inner and the outer journey
5. Write your own Zac Power or D-Bot Squad adventure using a 5-step plan.
6. Detail, detail, detail: A lesson on how to conjure truly descriptive language.
Louise writes books for children under her own name as well as several secret identities including H. I. Larry, Mac Park and Poppy Rose. She loves writing books with action and grand adventures and is the author of the best-selling series Zac Power Test Drive, Bella Dancerella and Star Girl—soon to be a television series.
