Blue Angel and Dr Wiedemann’s Orchestra perform original songs that trace their lives as performers in pre-Second World War Europe. Influences include Brecht, Weil and Hollaender. Inspiration is drawn from klezmer, jazz, folk and blues combined with characters that continue to live in current times in a nether world state as spirits. Arc back in time as the Blue Angel and Dr Wiedemann’s Orchestra bring you the musty era of Warsaw and Weimar on a battered silver tray.
