Join us for an afternoon celebrating storytelling and the short story form at the Peter Carey Short Story Award and Moorabool Young Writers' Awards celebration. This special event honors both established and emerging literary talents whose imaginations and craft have captivated our judges.

This year's Moorabool Young Writers awards recognises outstanding stories that reflect unique perspectives on surroundings and experiences, exploring the theme "Write where you are." The celebration showcases the incredible talents of Moorabool's youngest writers, ages 5 to 18, alongside accomplished short story authors.

This year we will also be announcing a very special art exhibition that ties into this years young writers awards!
