Peter Hunt and Friends at the Mullumbimby Drill Hall Theatre

On a winter’s evening an opportunity to get cosy, connect and absorb the imagination, heart and rhythmical vitality that threads and defines the music of Peter Hunt and a collaboration featuring Linden Lester, Bobby Alu, Conor Alexander, Mia Bloom and Tashmeen.  The concert will also be coloured by Mia and Tashmeen opening a window to their worlds of song.

The journey will stream through Peter’s songs and compositions featuring his distinct voice, lyricism, guitar and trumpet playing and shall open up as they let the groove breathe and improvisation to shape the way; Linden on bass holding the music in a homecoming basket, Bobby shaping the feel on drums with his generous knowing,  Conor colouring with a compassionate intelligence on keyboards and Tashmeen and Mia illuminating the sound with their harmonies.  

The group will have recently been in the studio recording new songs of Peter’s, many of which shall feature in the journey, along with songs from his album, ‘Vessel.’ 

To add to the cosiness of the winter night, there shall be delicious soup, teas and cakes available before the group begins and in the short interval.
