Songwriter, guitarist and trumpeter Peter Hunt together with fellow Kooii member, Tom Hinchliffe on bass and drummer Hugh Jones shall welcome listeners to take a journey with them and their music at Maleny Lane on Friday May 24th.
The concert shall be celebrating the online release of Peter’s song ‘Guardians of the Imagination’.
Within the miniatures of the universe that are music Peter takes listeners on a journey through worlds of song formed from an affinity with African music, Jazz and a sense of something Celtic. With a feeling of this country woven through the fabric of the sound a theme of seeking and finding belonging is heard and felt.
With long time collaborators Tom and Hugh joining him, the songs shall be expanded and envelope all with the combination of their musical imaginations with a groove set for feel good dance.
