The 2027 Walk for PetWellness

The PetWell + Habitat Walk for PetWellness is a 5km charity walk bringing pets, their people and Melbourne’s animal-loving community together for a meaningful morning in Docklands.

Proudly organised by PetWell and Habitat Pet Supplies, the fourth Walk for PetWellness will take place on Sunday, 2 May 2027 at 10am in Docklands, Melbourne.

After raising over $10,000 for Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR) in 2025, the Walk is proud to support this remarkable organisation once again. Every dollar from registration sales will go directly to SCAR, helping animals and pet owners facing some of life’s most difficult circumstances.

How Your Support Helps

SCAR rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned animals while delivering community programs that help pets remain safe and cared for alongside their families.

Funds raised through the Walk will support essential animal care and help pet owners experiencing financial hardship. They will also assist SCAR’s safe foster-care services for pets whose owners are escaping domestic violence.

Simply by registering, you’ll be helping protect the bond between pets and their people when they need that support most.

What’s Included and What to Expect

Your registration includes entry to the Walk for PetWellness and access to the activities taking place throughout the morning.

Meet the event sponsors, explore their stalls and enjoy a relaxed community event dedicated to pet health, responsible care and giving back. There will also be special guests, photo opportunities and a few surprises revealed closer to the day.

If we don't sell out of our limited Wellness Packs prior to the event, the final packs will be available to purchase on the day.
