PFLAG Denver Adult Book Club
Event description
This book group is for adults (18+) seeking to expand their understanding of the lived experiences of transgender, non-binary, and gender nonconforming communities. Join us as we read and collectively reflect on both fiction and nonfiction works that center diverse and intersectional gender identities such that we may become better allies and advocates.
PFLAG is an organization of LGBTQ+ people, parents, families, and allies who work together to create an equitable and inclusive world. PFLAG Denver serves this mission as one of hundreds of chapters across the country, locally supporting families, educating allies, and advocating for just, equitable, and inclusive legislation and policies. Join us on a bimonthly basis on the last Mondays of the month starting September 25. We'll meet at Second Star to the Right Bookstore in Denver @ 6:30pm.
