PGSA 2026 Special General Meeting (SGM)

Event Description

All postgraduate students are invited to attend the Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Victoria University of Wellington Postgraduate Students’ Association (PGSA).

This meeting is an opportunity to hear updates about the association, participate in important decisions, and learn how you can get involved in the postgraduate community.

Agenda highlights

• Presentation of the 2023 and 2024 financial statements for member approval

• Presentation of proposed changes to the PGSA constitution

• By-election for vacant executive officer roles

• Updates on recent developments in the student association

Where is it?

The meeting will be held in Level 2 of the Student Union Building on Kelburn campus in rooms SU217 and SU218 -- right next to The Bubble and directly below The Hunter Lounge.

What else to expect

Postgraduate students who are interested in getting involved are especially encouraged to attend, as we will also be introducing opportunities to join the executive committee. Some tasty kai (snacks and treats) will be provided, so come along, meet other postgrads, and have your say.
