Are you looking for a PhD with a difference? The newly funded ARC Training Centre in Plant Biosecurity has 18 fully funded scholarships with technical and professional training, travel and placements that will set you up for a career you love (that pays well too!)
Join this free webinar to get a sneak peek on the projects and perks of doing a PhD with us. You'll meet some of our awesome supervisors and have all your questions answered.
Our PhD positions are suitable for people who have completed (or are currently completing) honours or a Masters by research or who have equivalent demonstrable professional research experience. Come along and see how the Training Centre can boost your career to the next level.
Our projects includes:
- Entomology and insect taxonomy (especially fruit fly, bark beetles, invasive snails and scale insects)
- Statistics and data-driven decision making
- Molecular tools for detecting pests or diseases
- Mass spectrometry
- Social science, including misinformation and adoption practices
The Training Centre has over 20 partners across government and industry who are experiencing a severe shortage in PhD qualified employees. We'll give you the networks with future employers, and training in leadership, communication and cultural awareness that will set you up for a career you love that makes a difference.
