Our PhD positions are suitable for people who have completed (or are currently completing) honours or a Masters by research or who have equivalent demonstrable professional research experience. Come along and see how the Training Centre can boost your career to the next level.

Our projects includes:

Entomology and insect taxonomy (especially fruit fly, bark beetles, invasive snails and scale insects)
Statistics and data-driven decision making
Molecular tools for detecting pests or diseases
Mass spectrometry
Social science, including misinformation and adoption practices

The Training Centre has over 20 partners across government and industry who are experiencing a severe shortage in PhD qualified employees.
