Tl;dr: All Zoom information and conference communication will be shared solely on Slack! Activating Slack notifications will assure that you don’t miss anything important. Use the space to communicate while being appropriate and mindful of others.

Please also review the Community Guidelines for proper conference conduct over Slack.
Create your profile with your full name, preferred pronouns, and any information you’d like to share.
Make sure your notifications are turned on by going to Slack>Settings>Notifications. Missing a notification could mean you missing out on something important.
Slack will be our central event hub throughout the symposium — including announcements, discussion,and networking with speakers and fellow attendees.
- For questions pertaining to and during a specific session, please ask in the zoom chat.
The #announcements and #p2p-main-lobby channels will have Zoom links posted for all the sessions, so it is essential to join and be attentive to Slack!
- 📌 The #announcements and #p2p-main-lobby channels also have bookmarked and pinned important resources at the top
Other channels are devoted to other topics of conversation where you can post and respond to others’ threads.
Direct messages (DM) are used to connect 1:1 with other attendees.
For urgent matters or to make a report about unacceptable behavior over Slack, please reach out at the #help-desk or DM one of the moderators (denoted with ✨ emoji).
