Phil Christie with Heathcote Blue - Fremantle Buffalo Club - May 4
Description
Irish songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Phil Christie captivatingly glides between the realms of jazz, avant folk-pop, and experimental electronica. His work with The Bonk and O Emperor prods at the boundaries of rhythm and improvisation, teetering from tight precision to free flowing moments and forms.
“Christie’s music shimmers between pulse and poetry—adventurous, human and full of wit.” - The Journal of Music in Ireland
From Dublin to Boorloo (Perth), Phil will play new music joined by band members Jack Duffy and Cal Folger-Day, who are also performing at Tone List’s Audible Edge Festival.
Supported by local stalwarts Heathcote Blue.
