Did you know that Ballantynes sells books? Books and Bubbles is all about showcasing some of the beautiful books that we sell both in store and online.
At our first Timaru Books and Bubbles, Ballantynes is delighted to welcome Philippa Cameron.
Philippa is the station cook at Otematata Station in the Waitaki Valley. Many of you will know her from her wonderful Instagram account – philippacameron_whatsforsmoko and her beautiful cookbook – A High Country Life and her latest book Winter Warmers.
In this session, Philippa will share with us her inspiration for the books, her insights into station life and being a busy working Mum.
We have also asked Philippa to demonstrate some of her favourite Winter Warmers recipes – in particular those that use the time saving kitchen appliance essential - the Instant Pot, or as Philippa calls it – the magic pot!
Lindy from Instant Pot will be on hand too, helping answer all your questions and show just how easy it is to use.
