Please note this schedule may change and updates will be provided to you once you register. Sunrise approx 7:30am and Sunset approx 6:10pm each day. Moonrise times, vary each day. Also, The Whale Festival is a public event that we will participate in as it runs concurrently with this Retreat. We are not affiliated or associated with the Festival, except as community guests at their event.

10:00: COWES FORESHORE BEACH - WHALE BLESSING CEREMONY (OWN TRANSPORT)
Traditional Custodian, Ceremony Maker and Artist Uncle Steve Ulula Parker will facilitate a Ceremony to bless the whales and wish them safe passage on their migration past Millowl (Philip Island) to the warmer northern waters.
11:00: ARTISTIC FUN - PAINT YOUR OWN WHALE TAIL
- Local artist Karen Morton will guide us in the hands-on fun of painting your very own timber whale tail to take home as a memento. Join in the fun and learn some acrylic painting techniques. Laugh, drink and leave with your own whale masterpiece! All materials are provided to paint your own whale masterpiece including a canvas. Cheese platters will be provided. Beverages can be purchased at the venue (OAC).
13:30: DANCE TROUP - Ngargee Women's Dance Group (45 mins)
Ngargee Dance Group is a collective of First Nations young women living on Boonwurrung Country.
15:30: BLUE WHALES IN A CHANGING WORLD
Dr Pete Gill will talk about his and others’ research into the ecology of pygmy blue whales in the Great Southern Australian Upwelling System since 1998, and will look at the history of human impacts to these whales, up to the present.
17:00: CAPE WOOLAMAI - "Farewell Whale Ceremony" with Chakra Alignment Activation (OWN TRANSPORT)
18:30 - 21:45: COWES - "WHALES, WINE & WISDOM: AN EVENING OF INTIMATE INSIGHTS AND BREATHTAKING CINEMA
Hear from a panel of whale scientist as they share their stories and ideas for a live recording of ABC Radio Big Ideas with Natasha Mitchell followed by the docu-film The Big Blue with introduction and Q&A with Dr Pete Gill who features in the film.

PLEASE NOTE: FOOD, & TOURS ALL AT YOUR OWN ADDITIONAL COST. Transport to and from venues can be organised amongst Retreat Guests to 'ride share' or you can take your own vehicle.

Jen is an ACCREDITED Ancient Wisdom and Wellbeing Practitioner as well as an Early-Learning Facilitator, teaching both adults and children all about creating a more meaningful relationship with earth, oceans, nature and self, in fun and engaging ways.
She is also a multiple best-selling Author, with her most recent books written during Melbourne lockdowns titled "Sacred Whale Connections". She will present this fascinating and spiritually enriching research with you during the Retreat. She will also present her latest children's book "The Whale Who Forgot His Way" as a special public event.
Combining her own spirit and soul evolutionary experience and her capacity as an Author and Professional Presenter, Jen also includes Intuitive ART classes in the Retreats to help you unlock more of your own true potential. It's a NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY process, that will surprise, honour, reflect and respect your true self.
It is her aim to also incorporate ACTIVITY-BASED PHILANTHROPY where possible in to the Retreat Schedule, giving back whilst gaining so much, and leaving a positive impact as well as a minimal footprint wherever we are.
