Phillip Johnson Sustainable Gardens using Australian native plants

Join us, the Australian Plant Society Cardinia region (APS-CR) for a special event at our September plant sale. Guest speaker, Phillip Johnson will talk about sustainable garden design using Australian native plants. He is passionate about greening our cities, recreating habitat and connecting people to nature.

Phillip is one of Australia’s most creative, landscape designers and the first Australian to win the coveted ‘Best in Show’ award at the International Chelsea Flower Show, now replicated as the ‘Chelsea Australian Garden’ at the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens in Olinda.

About the plant sale

Stallholders will have plants that suit local conditions, support wildlife, encourage biodiversity, and won’t break the budget. There will be rare, unusual and grafted varieties for something special.

This is a volunteer-run event hosted every year by the Australian Plant Society -Cardinia Region. We promote and encourage interest in growing Australian plants in home gardens and public spaces. Come and chat to us!
