Philly Clown Slam is Studio 34's most popular monthly event, unleashing its debut at Philly Theatre Week! The format is simple: a curated cavalcade of clowns take turns performing 5-minute acts, trying to convey some ludicrous idea before their time is up! Mostly, they make it, and are applauded graciously offstage. But occasionally they suffer the crushing blow of a shame-faced gong and the embarrassment of leaving hings unfinished, only leaving the audience wanting more!

Local favorite Lu Anima will MC this Clown Slam. Hailed for the Philly Fringe hit, Ascension Death March, one never knows quite what to expect!

Theatre Philadelphia hosts the 9th annual Philly Theatre Week: a celebration of the artists, organizations, and audiences that have made Greater Philadelphia one of the most vibrant theatre regions in the nation.
