Philosophers on Friendship - Cicero
Event description
Our second edition of Philosophers on Friend will centre around Cicero's classic text On Friendship, which was part of his ethical literary corpus including On Moral Duties, On Old Age and Tusculan Disputation.
Join us for an exploration, investigation, and discussion about how we can integrate Axial Age insights into the nature of friendship and its role in "the good life" and living wisely.
We will focus on a small section about Cicero’s advise for ending friendships wisely.
