INDIAN CUISINE FUNDRAISER

The DAYLESFORD CINEMA team is holding a fundraising dinner to raise funds for the PHOENIX CINEMA AT THE REX.

Being held the VICTORIA PARK PAVILION 3021 Ballan Daylesford Road, Daylesford. (Inside Victoria Park) 

Doors open 6.45 pm Dinner service at 7.15pm

This sumptuous dinner will be a momentous occasion, celebrating the return of the much-loved cinema to Daylesford. Join us at this event and you will enjoy a very special selection of traditional Indian entrees, main courses and deserts prepared by our very own Raman Richards alongside his mother, Puja Kumari, a restaurateur with over four decades of experience running award-winning Indian restaurants across Australia.

We have a very special guest speaker; Richard Keddie. A well-known local member of the community.  He is an acclaimed writer, director and producer of films, that are amongst the best films ever made in Australia. His work as a community advocate has achieved some phenomenal outcomes including, a 30-billion-dollar government program of investment in Early Learning and Childcare. He is also a passionate campaigner for the preservation of the environment. Most notably the great barrier reef and the lower reaches of the Murray River.  A highly entertaining speaker who will demonstrate his passion for these and other invaluable causes. 

Gather your friends for a magnificent Indian Banquet. The night will also provide an exciting opportunity for you to help raise funds with silent and not-so-silent auctions of fabulous artworks and other enticing prizes. All proceeds will go to the fit out of the new Phoenix cinema at the Rex which is due to open later this year.
